I Enjoyed doing these shoes a lot. They came out very interesting. There is something about the feelings that come from ACTING that is so vibrant!
I love the theater! Dancing, signing, acting, props, and stage setting.
So for a beautiful theater geek named Jacqueline...I was told she is goofy, dramatic, and very sure of what she wants.
This girl is one frisky and fun fire cracker of Broadway Awesomeness!!!
She lives and breaths for the stage.
So take your strong heart and big dreams as far as you can!
Break A Leg!
To you love Favola Bella Shoes
Thanks for letting me show your shoes and share your story!
What is Favola Bella?
Welcome to a world of wonderful creations!
This is where your shoes meet my imagination and become
One of a kind pieces of ART!
With your ideas and my paint brushes we can really make something new.
I love getting close to the people I work with on each shoe.
Some want a shoe that tells who they are and what they love.
Some have that overly loved old pair that are worn out and want to be brought back to life!
So they send me them and I paint some new life back into them and give them a face lift.
Upcycling shoes can be really fun and come out better than you could ever imagine.
Then I do baby shoes for baby shower gifts and keep sakes.
There are many ways to use this art form and make it your own.
Some give me full freedom on design and I just go for it.
I ask questions and get to know them a little to feel out what they would enjoy.
Others are very sure of what they want down to the colors and the design.
Either way this is an adventure that is just waiting for you to try it out!
Spread the word and check out the portfolio on this blog.

FYI
Hey Everyone!
So the time is coming up fast!
Here we are...The shoes are due Thursday morning!
I am working on the last 3 pairs.
It's a hard week but I am still having fun with each shoe and working hard. I hope this works out for the best!
I really want this generation I am doing these for to latch on to the idea. The thing is that some people find painted shoes to be more of a dorky thing...but I have to tell you something!
THEY GROW ON YOU! OR YOU FALL IN LOVE AT FIRST SITE!
either way these are surprisingly amazing.
So pictures and blog talk on each shoe will be coming soon...for now I gotta finish them first!
They need to be sprayed still too.
I WILL HAVE TO ADMIT...
I am very proud of some of these designs...others I would do differently but hey that's why I am letting you into the start of my business. Enjoy!

The Silly and The Stylish
So here we are...
Now I have 4 pairs done and one in the works.
Almost all of the shoes have the base paint on them too. I am so excited about all of them. Some of the themes have changed since the start and I am okay with that. It's good to make sure they are shoes you would really like to wear. My styles are always changing. Some times I look at the all the shoes I have done and it feels like 3 different artists. :)
So The Silly has been finished. This pair turned out so colorful and fun I really like them a lot. I do have to admit though...these took a long time and a lot of small detail.
So Gag me with Sunshine was not an understatement!
Giggle
Well then we go for a totally new type of shoe...The Stylish!
A fashion forward girly chick with a love for PINK! I struggled with this pair for a while. I even ended up painting over part of it and re-designing it. I NEVER do that...but I was very unhappy with what it was turning out like. Some pairs I see them finished in my head...like the break dancer shoes. These I had this idea but nothing I wanted was working so they became their own and this is the result of a shoe running the fashion style!
These are the first I have splattered. The girl in black standing with the shoes was where I had to make some changes. I really love the quote though... I was told by the person who has ordered all these shoes that she was a little worried they weren't pink enough! I guess they might have been all hot pink with white details?!?
I am really into do the free hand swirl scroll stuff right now for some reason?!

Oh yeah! Buttloads of color! That's right I said Buttloads ;)
Just for you Jenessa!
(she will be the proud owner of 10 pair of shoes that she will give away to all her friends!)
Lets all hope that Hannah will love this sweet happy pair of shoes to match how sweet and happy she is.
All the shoes for this project will be added to my portfolio. I will take really nice clear photos with our real camera. These photos are with my phone.

I do like the scroll work.
Then I added the top fashion places: London, Milan, Pairs, and New York.
Along with some top fashion logos.
A tiny part of me is still unsure on this pair....It was so not what was in my head. Some shoes I just love right away...others end up growing on me.
And...Now...
I am working on the Zany Zaryn Masquerade!
This is a pair for a open minded fun loving sparkly cheerleader.
She is very strong and knows what she wants! colors that she loves are purple and teal!
So...Far...
I LOVE these purple diamonds!
The mask with the stripes looks like a bra with horns!! so I will go in and make eye holes so it looks more like a mask. haha...
OOOOh a wash of envy!
I am really into do the free hand swirl scroll stuff right now for some reason?!
What's next you might be asking?!?!
Well let see:
- An Alice in Wonderland
- A Beach sunset with surfer dude
- Goofy Theater Geek Drama Queen
- Artsy Fartsy Leader Little Sister
- Life of The Party Comic Dori
- The Sweet Inspirational Peace Lover
Due to people changing their minds some themes may vary during the next few weeks.
OH WAIT A MIN!...I HAVE 4 DONE...1 ALMOST DONE...AND 6 ON THE LIST!?!
THAT'S 11 SHOES! OKAY...
Plus JENESSA's pair at the end of this.
SO this is now...12 shoes!
See you soon :)
Have a great day!

2 Pairs down and 2 almost done.
The start of the second shoe...and the end of the 1st pair of shoes!!!
Lets kick this up a bit!
I Love this design!
Added the break dance name B Boy Statix!
Super excited about this pair. I will be sad to part with these!
The pair that just spoke to me and SCREAMED to be done!
Shoe #3 Sweet Peas Flower
These shoes are for a sweet, soft, and pretty little lady. These may seem simple but I feel they speak volumes with a whisper.
A beautiful blend of light blue, soft purple, and a crisp green.
(you can't really see the color from my studio light and the camera phone)
Start off the pretty set with puffy yellow flower center.
At last I start to feel like it is making sense.
And...Yes this is it! BAM!
The other 2 are the Sunshine ones and the Fashion forward girly ones...
Coming soon!
PLEASE WRITE COMMENTS AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
One & Two...AND One & Two...
Alright so the real fun has started!!
Design and painting the shoes to become ART!
Shoe #1: Break Dancers Vibe
These shoes are a wonderful roomy size 12 in men's!
I am so excited to prove that I can paint shoes guys would wear too! The coolest part is that they have so much room on the front compared to a tiny baby shoe. This makes my imagination go a little wild.
This guy is an amazing super fun break dancer! I hear he has got the moves.
His dance name is
B-Boy Statix.
He really loves Red and Black...also a touch of green. So in my mind I already have a clear picture of what I am going for in this pair. I have only started the one shoe...the other one is going to be a little more work.
So far:
These needed to be thought out and sketched before hand...unlike the sound blasted break dancer shoes.
I couldn't help it...I just had to put some Gum Drop people on there!!!
What isn't more cheerful that a Gum Drop person with balloons!?!

So far:
A little boom box and sound wave action!
The music is oozing from this sweet kick!
Some odd design/symbol that I just did.
So I think they look pretty bad ass so far. I am kind proud. Sometimes at this point in the shoe process I am really freaked out and unsure. These shoes speak to me...I knew some people who use to dance like that and I think they would be (dare I say it) Impressed!
The other half of this pair will be worked on today. Doing a break dancer Silhouette on the toe with some more sick music drips and sound waves.
Shoe #2: Gag me with Sunshine!
Talk about opposites! This next pair is for a girl that is as I have been told one of the SWEETEST most ADORABLE happy and GIGGLY girls on the planet! Woo Hooo! Were talking Rainbows, Sunshine, and Lollipops!
So ...that's what I did! She likes cute and cartoon type things. Favorite colors are the ultimate choice of
PINK and YELLOW!
So this little adventure reminds me of little happy face monsters and crazy laughter with a wonderful Gagging amount of SUNSHINE!

Just a little reminder of love XOXO
Ahh..Color you want?!?
Well Fine! Color you shall get!!!
Just the start of this rainbow fest!

Step one: Kill the Jar!
Okay so this is a very different order I am doing.
It is super fun because I get to teach/paint with the person who wants to order done. The best part is she is really really funny!
Step one: Get white paint open!
I knew what was going to happen...because of the simple fact that every time I go to paint shoe I have to sit and try to open the stupid container! I fight with it every time. Pulling, twisting, slamming, throwing even!!!
It is the first step and really the most annoying of them all! So I handed this job over to my new helper!
I ended up telling her my secret of having to sit down and grab the jar with your feet while you twist as hard as you can on the lid.
She pulled and pulled and laughed and I am pretty sure she even snorted like a pig at one point. It was pretty amazing. Next time I will get a video of this event.
But then! ...It happened!
POP! she opened it and I saw the look of happiness that my 9 month old has every time she stands up on her own and falls down on her butt. I missed that photo too.
So step one of open the jar of paint was a tough but really funny thing. Now we are painting the shoes the base white. 5 pairs down and 5 to go!
Gotta love the faces she makes.
It's nice to work with the customer!
now I have got a picture of the way I want one of the pairs of shoes and another is drawn out.
I will add pictures tonight of them.
1st pair:
Break Dancers Vibe
2nd pair:
Gag Me With Sunshine!
Check back soon!

Take a breath...you might want to sit down for this...
4 Weeks!
Thanks right people I have a huge goal! 10 pairs of shoes in 4 weeks!
I am so excited too...these shoes are for some very special and amazing people. They are in dance, some are theater geeks, one break dances, one is in love with Alice in wonderland, and then I heard about this girl that is so bright and so happy...were talking an explosion of rainbows, lollipops, and sunshine!
I get to do 2 pair of Dude Shoes!!!
So if you happen to know me on a personal level, You know that these shoes are going to be so fun for me. A wonderful heartfelt gift for a group of hard working kids that are pretty much adults now.

The Talent gets moved
I have to be honest here people.
I am a girl that gets excited to try new things, sometimes that means putting one project down and starting another.
What have I done in the past you might ask?
Don't worry I am still doing shoes and have time and space if your interested in placing an order.
I just have been using this free time to try out some new things. In an artists life I feel that you need to expand your mind and try new things. When you do it opens up new inspirations and also you get ideas you might not have ever thought of before.
So I bought some assorted wood squares on Etsy not to long ago and had no idea what to do with them. All I knew was that it was a good price!
Then I started to paint on one...hummm..I thought to myself.
JEWELRY!
Now that is what I have been doing all this time.
But how does this have anything to do with my shoes?
Well it gives me the time and freedom to paint things I want. Which in the long run means I am coming up with new images and ideas that could become a pair of shoes!
Also I now have some great Earrings to match my custom shoes!
Like these awesome cats! I see them curling up on some sexy red heels!
Or maybe even adorning some crazy converse boots!
Ahhh...Bring me some orders and lets make some magic happen!
Thanks for your support.
Have a great week.

The Break is Over!
Well I got so many shoes done I am very proud.
Then after the rush of 5 pairs of shoes...now I am stuck waiting for my new pairs to arrive.
It gives me time to think of some new ideas for designs though.
I thought about fall leaf pattern, Scroll work, Owls, and Some new flowers too.
Below are some photos I took for inspiration for up and coming shoes!
So soon I will be starting on a new pair and you will have something to look at.
Sorry for the long break period. I got busy with my 1st official mothers day!
On that note though... Here is a little bit of my personal side for you:

The colors in this leaf are just so pure!
I love the black background with the vibrant yellow flower.
The lines and patterns are very interesting.
I have a few friends wanting peacock shoes!
SO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU LIKE, WHAT WOULD INSPIRE YOU FOR SHOES, TELL ME ABOUT YOUR IDEAS?!
Sorry for the long break period. I got busy with my 1st official mothers day!
On that note though... Here is a little bit of my personal side for you:
My little girl is now 9 months old and she has grown so much! Her personality is starting to show now too.
She is a mover also, she can crawl pretty fast when she gets her eyes on something. A new Pair of shoes will be due for her soon too.
All the money has been going for the wedding though...
So I have not had the funds to buy new sample shoes.
I can't wait much longer though.
I have gotten asked if I would do some hand painted bridal shoes which I thought was really neat. So that might be something we try and see how it works out.
Well you won't have to wait much longer I will be starting a new pair of shoes sometime this week!
Have a great day!
