When you have to choose if your going to keep your shoes that have been with you for years and are so worn in they are just right for your feet...Or do you throw them out since they are getting so old it's sad to wear them.
Well, I decided to upcycle some shoes using my hand painting. They are still the same wonderful fit and I can choose to color it all or only add a new hint of designs to hide old stains or marks.
So here are some examples of the awesomeness!
9 year old converse I have loved to Death!
I even made a cool pair of earrings to go with them after:)
These two kids were for fun, I was trying it out to see what it would be like.
I am a mother my self and kids have to get new shoes soooo much it feels hard to just toss out the one pair they may have taken their first steps in. This way you can get the decorated and keep them for a keep sake!
I love the pirate ones!
I wore these for a while and realized they were looking kinda dirty...
so I threw on a few Owls and ...BAM! new shoes!
These are extra special too. Deeper meaning to the timing and the Owls!
Just a touch on the sides. left the backs and the inside blank. May or may not go back and do the rest.
A wonderful man who lives in Canada found me on google and asked me to help out his old but very loved pair of Timberlands! I was really excited! so far its just white but we are brainstorming some great ideas and I think these will turn out really well.
The best part is that I will have a pair of shoes in Canada!
I always wanted to go there...
Well at least part of me is going to be there :)
I will keep you up dated on the new look of these wonderful shoes!
Hope you enjoyed the look at some ways I can turn your old lovers into a new lover.
